I’m still on the case. It’s easy going but a long job; and this is the first of two websites I’m converting from a forum to a blog (it’s easier the other way round).
I expect it will take me the rest of this week to complete the transfer of JournalXtra from SMF to WordPress. In a later article I’ll explain how I’m doing it; for now it’ll suffice to say I’m trawling through a database and collecting then editing articles by hand.
The artcles I’m transferring over will have pictures added to them at some stage. Adding pictures isn’t my main priority; getting the content into WordPress is.
I’d better get back to the job. Catch ya later…
