Missing Since 2006. Please Help Find Melanie Metheny

A deviation from my usual post type but the least I can do to help a friend, a mother, who is desperately searching for her daughter, Melanie, who went missing July 19th, 2006 in Belle, West Virginia. Melanie is also the  mother of three children who miss her very much and dearly wish to see her again. Even if you live outside of West Virginia or the United States, please read on, you can help find her.

Melanie Metheny Missing Since 2006

Melanie Metheny is a former student at Riverside High School and young mother to three children. She was studying for her college entrance exam at the time of her disappearance. She dreamed of becoming a nurse. She will now be around 25 years of age.

Melanie was last seen around 8:00 a.m, July 19th, 2006 after leaving her children at their daycare center in Belle, West Virginia. Sadly, there has been no contact with Melanie since that day.

Melanie’s gold 1998 Chevrolet Ventura minivan was found abandoned near Wyoming Street and Beuhring Avenue in Charleston, West Virginia on July 23rd 2006, just 4 days after her disappearance. No evidence of her whereabouts was uncovered at the scene. Foul play is suspected.

You can help locate Melanie even if you are not in the United States. Perhaps you have friends, relatives or associates who do live there. Maybe your Facebook friends, Twitter contacts or the people you know through online games and other social networks know something, anything at all, about where she is or might be. Her family and friends are searching frantically for her and have done so tirelessly since the day she disappeared.
