We read, we forget….we re-read, we – yes, you guessed it – we forget it all over again. It’s a cycle of learning that affects most people blessed with an average memory. Is there an end to this cycle?

You bet there is! Definitely.

This first part of the series explains my personal 10 step guide to learning and note taking which developed over many years of study, work and reading of the many books about the mind, memory, learning and creativity by world famous specialist authors such as Tony Buzan, Dominic O’Brian and Roger Von Oech.

Is all this doom and gloom surrounding the economy getting you down? Can we take comfort from the fact that we have been here before and no doubt will be here again? The economy, like most things, behaves in cycles, sometimes up and sometimes down. No doubt, certain other factors have combined to make this period appear worse than others but the real issues are what we can learn from the past and what we can do to improve the present and future?

In 1912 Wallace D Wattles wrote a classic book on wealth creation called The Science of Getting Rich which has inspired generations of entrepreneurs, business owners and free thinkers. It was credited as the inspiration behind the book and movie phenomenon “The Secret”. What follows is a summary of his thoughts.
