Multipress is definitely the autoblog plugin to use. Sadly, Multipress is now only free on a trial basis after which it has to be purchased. It may be downloaded from multipressplugin.com (affiliate link). You’ll need the invitation code JHH7KL644GHLFSS to purchase the full plugin.

The developers of Multipress also make another plugin which is perfect for selling affiliate products. It’s called WordsPay and can be accessed here. I have set up a test site running the free version which allows upto three affiliate programs to be set up to post content onto one blog. The test site (set up yesterday) is El Markito. Take a look. It works really well. A bit of tweaking with the theme, post layout, the addition of a few plugins and it could look as good as any online store.

Truth is I’ve seen a bunch of sites using autoblogging plugins that were pure crap, some of them didn’t even had a link to the original content which is unacceptable. I believe most of them aren’t making anything worth mentioning.

I’ve also seen quite a few sites that looked pretty good and, judging by their Alexa rank, they do have traffic, therefore sales. It all sums up to how you use autoblogging I think, if you do your homework pick the best keywords (that are searched for but there’s a lack in promotion), one could make a great income off of it.

I’m not a lazy man and I do have my own written blogs, actually quite a few, but I was lately thinking about setting some autoblogging sites see how’s it working. Most of the successful blogs I saw were using Multipress Lite which is free so I think I’m going to use it on this project. At first glance, looks like it takes its content from Yahoo Answers, Flikr and some article directories so it should be good to use. It also creates a link to the original content so there shouldn’t be any issues with people getting angry for their content being used elsewhere.

I’ll let you know how it works out if I have the time to get it started.

I’m not sure which link links to you so you need to point it out to me. I don’t autoblog so much myself and I’ve never really bothered with Adsense. Saying that, I use these plugins and a few more to create index sites for white labels provided by sponsors; very useful when the white label isn’t properly indexable by search engines and a lack of access to robots.txt prevents an off-site sitemap from being registered. I can’t post links to the index sites because they’re for adult products and JournalXtra is a prude friendly site.

One autoblog I recently set-up to test the above plugins and to generate traffic without advertisement is Der Splog!. I posted about it here. I need to collect the stats from it to update that post but other tasks keep me otherwise busy – will get around to it over the next few days. Just as a guide, though, Der Splog! has had 7,581 unique views since June (mid to end of). Traffic to it has now slowed but the point is: it is possible to use duplicate content (gathered from article directories and Yahoo! Answers and Yahoo News etc…) and gain organic traffic without manually advertising or creating backlinks to a site – just add it to search engines, install the right plugins, specialize its content and leave it to chance.

This actual posts also needs to be updated. I’ve learned of some new good plugins. I will update it over the next few days.
